Workshop Objectives

This workshop brings together academics and practitioners to discuss recent topics related to

surviving the economic and financial crisis. Researchers are invited to submit both theoretical

and empirical papers. In particular, we welcome papers related to the following topics:

• Implications for fiscal policy

• Taxation policy

• Competition issues related to the financial-economic crisis

• Role of competitiveness in economic growth

• Structural economic changes after the crisis

• Recovery, growth and regulatory solutions in banking, financial and equity markets

The workshop is open to both young and experienced researchers (including Ph.D. students) and professionals from business, government and non-governmental institutions. In particular we welcome papers with clear policy insights.
